Meet the Doctor
 Dr. Allen Litvak, Jr., is originally from Pensacola, Florida. He is married to his wife, Jane, and has three children. He also enjoys fishing and tennis in his free time.
Dr. Litvak feels very strongly about orthodontics: "To me orthodontics is not just my profession it is also my passion. I try to let my patients know how much I care about them and their smile. I do this by spending time with my patients and listening to their concerns. The ability to change someone's life so dramatically is not a responsibility that I take lightly. I feel that my entire staff shares my commitment."
Dr. Litvak earned his bachelor's degree from Washington & Lee University in 1991. He then graduated from Temple University Dental School in 1998 and practiced general dentistry in Pensacola, Florida, for three years before returning to complete his two-year specialty residency program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pennsylvania. This program accepts only six residents per year from over 300 applicants.
Dr. Litvak is active in the local dental society as a board member. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists as well as the Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, Northwest District Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Esca-Rosa Dental Society. Dr. Litvak is also a member of two local dental societies: the Pensacola Chapter of the Seattle Study Club and the Pensacola Chapter of the Pankey Institute.
Dr. Litvak enjoys lecturing annually to the first-year residents at the University of Pennsylvania on topics including skeletal discrepancies.
